Peelin' The Love
Crispy sautéd banana peel.

Ingredients
- 3-4big plantain peels
- ½ onionchopped
- ¼tsp Turmeric powder
- 1tsp chili powder
For Grinding
- ½cup Grated coconut
- ¼tsp Cumin seeds
- 1clove garlic
- 2 pearl onions
For Tempering
- 2tsp Oil
- ½tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 broken dry red chili
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and soak the peel in water to avoid browning.
- Chop the soaked peel finely.
- Grind coconut, cumin seeds, onion and garlic into a coarse paste without adding water.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds then add the broken dried red chili and curry leaves.
- Then add the onion and cook for thirty seconds till it becomes transparent.
- Add the chopped banana peel and roast for a minute. Sprinkle some salt and water; close with a lid and cook till the peel cooks soft to touch.
- Add turmeric and chili powder and ground coconut mixture and mix well and cook for thirty seconds till the raw garlic smell leaves.
- Check for salt. Serve.
